Learning a Second Langauge

There are some important steps to learn the English language. Firstly, you have to learn the bases in grammar and then practice with them. Ask your teacher about every thing you don’t know. Secondly, you are going to read books and newspapers that befitting to your level in English. You should have a note book to write new vocabulary that you learned with their translation in your language and use those words in your speaking because you may forget them. Get a habit of listening to the TV and English movies. Exercise speaking in class and out of class with your classmates, seller in the markets, and other people with good English. Those are some things to have good English.

In this picture generally, you can see a lot of items have destroyed because of the bad weather. When you focus on the picture, you will see some people who have lost their houses and they live in poor houses which are small rooms that have made of wood. Those small rooms are closed to an area of water, it looks like a river. The ground which is next to the water area is broken. The children go down to the water area and try to find something which they can make useful with. According to looking for the picture we can say that it shows the effects of the bad weather, poor area, and how people try hardly to get their food.

The Addiction

There are many addictions such as to television, drugs, smoking, chocolate, alcohol, etc.... I think the reason why people have addictions is that they do not have strong wills. In fact, I think that I have an addiction to television because I watch TV even if I do not think this TV program is interesting because it is the the way ti spend my time when I feel bored. If I had a strong will, I could stop watching TV and do other kinds of having fun such as the internet or video games. We have to have strong will, or we will loose friends and get crucial diseases.

My Favorite Book

My favorite book is If you Want to Study Business. Actually, I do not like reading books a lot, however, I like to read business subjects because I am interested with business and I am going to be majoring in business whenever I got in the college so I have to read as much as I can in business to know more about it . In fact, I had not been interested in this book at first, but I had a homework that I read a book and write about that, so I decided to read If you Want to Study Business. This book tells that how to know more about business and the section that come under business. This book shows the goals of studying business and what are you going to be working with if you graduate business school.

Dubai

My favorite place is Dubai, a city in the U.A.E. It has a lot of big malls such as City Center Mall, and it is a very famous mall at the U.A.E. and in the countries that are near to the U.A.E. In this mall there are many international stores to sell the products that have made in foreign countries, so I like to go there to look at them and learn about them. Also, there is a big cinema to watch the new movies Arabic and English. The second mall that I like in Dubai is Ibn Battota Mall. There are very beautiful sights and it shows many cultures in the world such as Egypt, India, China. etc… to know how were them before. There is a section for each culture and they make a special design for each section. When I go there, I stay long time because I feel good about learning new things and spending time in the coffee shop with different designs, these are like the design of the tables and the walls and the picture that on the walls. In conclusion, I feel fun when I be in Dubai especially if my friend were with me there.

The Strong Gander

There are two ganders of the human and one of them is stronger than the other. Male and female, the male is the stronger because they are able to do something but the female cannot. For example, in the companies and the factories that work with heavy tools always their employment are male. In addition, when a woman got a problem anywhere such as car problem on the way, sometimes she may not make a solution for that problem without ask somebody else, men especially.

Shopping in Saudi Arabia and in the States

I have found a big difference between the shopping in Saudi Arabia and the United States. The shifts or the business hours of the markets. Markets and the malls in Saudi Arabia have two shifts of every work day. One of them starts from the morning until noon and the other starts from afternoon until eleven at night, so they have time of lunch during the time which is between the two shifts. They close at the time of prayer for a half hour. In contrast, Markets in the U.S. have just one shift; it starts from the morning until nine at night. Some owners of markets take little time to have lunch and dinner, one hour for each. In both countries Saudi Arabia and the States you are able to shop online. By the internet you can buy whatever you want to such as electronics and all of the products which have selling in the regular stores. You just choose the product that you want to buy and the pay them with visa, after few days the product which you have bought will be shipped to your home.

A relationship for me

I have had a relation with a girl, and it is the most wonderful relation in whole of my life. I have met her in a school, and I was admirer when I looked to her style and her look. Then, I waited to get a chance to talk to her about myself and why am I wondered of her. Day after a day, I got it, and I met her in the university center during the lunch time. The most important we talked about is having a date as soon as we can. After that, I dated her in a coffee shop, and we had a romantic time. When I had the romantic time in the coffee shop, I became usually invite her to have main meal together, I invited her in Olive Garden restaurant twice. If I go to her house, I help her to study and teach her if she miss understand with any exercise. She still until now my best friend.

Toefl
Have you ever take the Toefl test? It is the test of English as a foreign language. That test for the international people if they want to a satisfaction of that they have the English as a second language for entering colleges which teach in English or if they want to work in companies which need English proficiency with their employees. The Toefl test includes three sections reading, listening, speaking, and writing. When you take the test, somebody is grading your abilities in those skills.
